I have been asked to verify my ID and address why has this happened?
New regulations came into force on 7th May 2019. These new regulations require all gambling companies to verify the identity of their customers to a higher standard than before.
Why do I need to provide information?
The UK Gambling Commission’s licensing conditions require us to verify your age and identity before you can play with us. When you make your first transaction on tombola we carry out automatic checks to verify your age and address. Sometimes, we may not be able to obtain a sufficient result from these checks, for example if your home address on your account does not match the address your payment method is registered too. If this is the case, we may ask you to provide documents to enable us to verify your account.
